🔎 The Week That Was Tech had a bad week. The Nasdaq slid 2.80% to finish Friday at 25,437.00, and the S&P 500 fell 1.26% to 7,580.07. The Dow held up a little better, down 1.13% to 51,770.31.
The twist is that most of the market was fine. Nine of 11 sectors finished green, led by Healthcare (+3.12%), Materials (+2.65%) and Utilities (+2.07%). Technology (-3.66%) and Communication (-3.80%) did nearly all the damage, and the Russell 2000 gained 0.91%, a sign that investors were moving money rather than pulling it out.
The macro backdrop made defensive moves look sensible. A headline that new economic data challenges the Fed chief's 'not-too-hot' view revived worries that rates may stay higher for longer. China's economic activity slowed sharply in October, and reports about Nvidia-linked gaps in U.S. chip curbs put the semiconductor space back under political scrutiny.
When trading resumes Monday, the key question is whether this was a healthy reshuffle or the start of a bigger reset in tech. Megacap earnings will help answer it. Watch whether money keeps flowing into healthcare and small caps, or whether bargain hunters step back into beaten-down chip and software names.

The Chip Inside Every Tesla
One small company gets paid on every Tesla built in the last decade. Every Starlink dish. Elon's been paying them since 2012. When NVIDIA tried to buy them, he fought the deal. Now he's filed for 1,000,000 satellites. That could mean a 100X bigger bill. You can own it in any brokerage account. Dylan believes it takes off December 8th.
