Take A Look At USAU While It’s Still Early…

July 2, 2026

Dear Reader,

Last night we added USAU to the watchlist. This morning we are keeping it there.

U.S. Gold Corp. (Nasdaq: USAU) is not a concept on paper. The company holds a fully permitted gold-copper project on Wyoming state land where construction has physically started, with six analysts covering the name and gold trading comfortably above the study's $3,250/oz base case.

When a company has permits in hand, dirt moving, analysts paying attention, and the underlying commodity working in its favor, it gets our full attention.

USAU has our full focus this morning—Thursday, July 2, 2026.

The Numbers Behind the CK Gold Project

The feasibility study provides a detailed look at the project's expected economics, production profile, and development plan.

The study outlined an after-tax net present value (NPV) at a 5% discount rate of $632Mn with a 27% internal rate of return (IRR), using base case metal prices of $3,250/oz gold, $4.50/lb copper, and $40/oz silver.

Plug in spot prices closer to $4,500/oz gold and that after-tax NPV balloons to roughly $1.30Bn with a 45% IRR.

The permitting picture is what separates this from the crowd. Every required construction permit is already secured, a $5Mn reclamation bond has been posted, and mine access road construction kicked off in January 2026.

The CK Gold Project sits entirely on Wyoming state land, meaning no federal review, no NEPA queue, and no multi-year regulatory bottleneck.

Physical construction is already underway 20 miles from Cheyenne.

The feasibility study models total life-of-mine production of 931,000 gold-equivalent ounces across an 11-year operating mine life, with average annual output of approximately 85,000 gold-equivalent ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of $1,785/oz AuEq.

Initial capital requirements land at $394Mn, and the study projects $967Mn in total net free cash flow over the mine's life.

The mineral reserves behind these numbers total 1.598Mn AuEq ounces, comprising 1.015Mn ounces of gold, 260Mn pounds of copper, and 3Mn ounces of silver.

Share structure adds another layer. USUA has less than 15M shares listed as available to the public. When companies have small floats like this, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift.

The company was added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ) effective March 20, 2026, opening the door to passive index flows and broader institutional participation.

Six analysts currently cover USAU, including Don Blyth of Paradigm Capital, Jake Sekelsky of Alliance Global Partners, Heiko Ihle of H.C. Wainwright, Joseph Reagor of Roth MKM, Michael Curran of Beacon Securities, and Paul O'Brien of Velocity Trade Capital.

Of those, three have published targets tracked by TipRanks, and all three maintain a Bullish consensus.

H.C. Wainwright's Ihle holds the highest target at $27.50, representing approximately 72% upside potential from recent levels near $16.

Alliance Global Partners' Sekelsky recently raised his target from $23.50 to $27, reflecting roughly 69% upside.

Roth MKM's Reagor adjusted his target from $26 to $22, which still implies approximately 38% upside from current levels.Inline Image

Beyond analyst coverage, the current metal price environment adds another important layer to the CK Gold story.

Gold is currently near $4,025/oz, well above the feasibility study's $3,250 base case.

Most recently, on June 10, 2026, the company announced it had completed an expanded drone magnetometer survey at CK Gold conducted by Zonge International, covering 325-line km.

The survey revealed additional magnetic anomalies suggesting structures and magnetite-altered zones potentially capable of hosting gold and copper mineralization beyond the current pit design.

A mineral resource drilling program is now being developed to test expansion at depth and along strike.

About U.S. Gold Corp (Nasdaq: USAU)

U.S. Gold Corp. is a gold and precious metals exploration and development company headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming (with offices also in Elko, Nevada).

The company operates exclusively on U.S.-based properties, positioning it as a domestic-focused developer at a time when supply chain security and resource sovereignty carry increasing weight with policymakers and allocators alike.

The flagship asset is the CK Gold Project, an advanced-stage, fully permitted open-pit gold-copper development in the Silver Crown Mining District of southeast Wyoming, roughly 20 miles west of Cheyenne and approximately 3 miles north of I-80.

Because the project sits on Wyoming state land, federal permitting requirements do not apply.

A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jurisdictional Delineation confirmed the project footprint does not impact waters of the United States, which also eliminated the NEPA review requirement.

The project is advantageously situated near major highways and rail, with access to road networks, water, power, manpower, support services, contractors, emergency services, and equipment providers all within proximity.

The March 2026 feasibility study projects 931,000 gold-equivalent ounces of total payable production over 11 years, with annual output averaging approximately 85,000 AuEq ounces at an AISC of $1,785/oz.

The mine plan uses dry-stack tailings for water conservation and reduced environmental impact, and is expected to support approximately 255 direct local jobs while paying a 2.1% royalty earmarked for K–12 education.

The processing circuit employs a simple, well-proven crush, grind, and Jameson cell flotation system producing a high-value gold-copper concentrate with little or no deleterious elements.

Beyond CK Gold, the company holds the Keystone Gold Project in Eureka County, Nevada, covering approximately 20 square miles on the Cortez Trend, 11 miles south of Nevada Gold Mines' Cortez Complex (which has produced or holds reserves and resources exceeding 51Mn ounces of gold).

The Challis Gold Project in Idaho sits approximately 12 miles southwest of Revival Gold's Beartrack-Arnett Project within the Tertiary Challis Volcanic Field.

Neither exploration property requires near-term capital from the CK development budget.

As of the January 31, 2026 quarterly filing, the company held $36.1Mn in ca-sh to fund pre-construction and early works activity while project financing is finalized.

Why the Current Gold Cycle Could Favor

Construction-Ready Developers

Gold mining is operating in one of its most structurally favorable environments in over a decade.

Prices reached a record high of approximately $5,602/oz in late January 2026 and, even after pulling back to the $4,025 range, remain well above the production cost curve for most operating mines.

Central bank buying from China, India, and other emerging economies continues at an aggressive pace, while persistent inflation and geopolitical friction keep allocators leaning toward hard assets.

Goldman Sachs maintains a $4,900 year-end 2026 gold price target, and J.P. Morgan projects gold could reach $5,000/oz in Q4.

Against that backdrop, fully permitted, construction-ready gold assets in stable U.S. jurisdictions are genuinely scarce.

The average federal mine permitting timeline exceeds seven years, which makes USAU's Wyoming state-land position, free of any federal nexus and NEPA review, a differentiator that is hard to replicate.

USAU's inclusion in the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ) in March 2026 introduces structural demand from passive index rebalancing and broadens institutional visibility.

The Timeline Behind USAU's Acceleration

June 10, 2026 – Exploration Expansion: Completed a 325-line km drone magnetometer survey revealing new magnetic anomalies beyond the current pit. A drilling program is being developed to test mineralization at depth and along 2,900 ft of untested strike. Gravity survey planned for late July.

May 2026 – SEC Filing: Filed the Technical Report Summary for the CK Gold Feasibility Study with the SEC under S-K 1300 standards.

April 1, 2026 – Value Enhancement Initiatives: Disclosed five upside drivers beyond the feasibility baseline, including resource expansion drilling, gold recovery improvements toward 95%, and monetization of approximately 40Mn tons of aggregate waste rock at $20–$25/ton.

March 31, 2026 – Feasibility Study Released: Published the CK Gold Feasibility Study confirming $632Mn after-tax NPV(5%), 27% IRR, 2.5-year payback, and 931,000 AuEq ounces over 11 years at $1,785/oz AISC. Initial capital set at $394Mn. Deposit remains open at depths below 800 feet.

March 20, 2026 – GDXJ ETF Inclusion: Added to the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF during the quarterly rebalance, broadening institutional visibility and supporting financing efforts.

January 2026 – Construction Commenced: Mine access road work began at CK Gold following final permit approvals. $5Mn reclamation bond posted.

7 Reasons Why USAU is Topping Our Watchlist This Morning—Thursday, July 2, 2026…

1. Fully Permitted: USAU's flagship CK Gold Project has secured every required construction permit, posted its $5Mn reclamation bond, and began mine access road construction in January 2026.

2. Small Float: USAU has fewer than 15M shares listed as available to the public, a share structure that can lead to increased price movement if demand changes.

3. Analyst Coverage: USAU is currently covered by six analysts, with three published targets tracked by TipRanks and all three carrying a Bullish consensus.

4. Construction Underway: USAU has already moved beyond the permitting stage, with physical construction underway at its CK Gold Project approximately 20 miles west of Cheyenne, Wyoming.

5. Strong Economics: USAU's March 2026 feasibility study outlined a $632Mn after-tax NPV (5%) and a 27% IRR using base-case metal prices of $3,250/oz gold, $4.50/lb copper, and $40/oz silver.

6. Gold Tailwind: USAU's feasibility study used a base-case gold price of $3,250/oz, while gold is currently trading near $4,025/oz, above that assumption.

7. Expansion Potential: USAU recently completed an expanded 325-line km drone magnetometer survey that identified additional magnetic anomalies beyond the current pit, with a drilling program now being developed to test those targets.

When you step back and look at the full picture, it becomes easier to understand why USAU has climbed to the top of our watchlist.

A fully permitted project, construction already underway, fewer than 15M shares listed as available to the public, coverage from six analysts, a feasibility study outlining substantial project economics, gold prices above the study's base-case assumption, and ongoing exploration aimed at expanding the resource all combine to create a story worth following.

Whether your focus is project development, precious metals, or companies advancing toward production, USAU is one name we believe deserves a closer look based on its recent progress and publicly reported developments.

We have all eyes on USAU this morning.

Take a look at USAU while it’s still early.

Sincerely,
