Weeks later, shareholders approved a slate of proposals at the September 1st VWAV annual meeting, including share issuances tied to the QuantumSpeed, xClibre, SaverOne and Solar Drone transactions. Holders also authorized a reverse split of up to 1-for-250 that can be implemented through December 31, 2027, and approved a 2026 Omnibus Equity Incentive Plan reserving 7Mn shares. Its May 2026 corporate overview laid out a dual-use strategy that moves technology from military programs into commercial infrastructure, and back again. Solar Drone, a wholly owned subsidiary, supplies drone-mounted payloads for large-scale solar and infrastructure cleaning, and it added distribution in Italy and Spain along with a follow-on hardware order from an existing European client. The same overview cites a signed purchase order received April 2nd, 2026, from a Latin American public safety organization for drone-based operational systems, which the company describes as its first commercial homeland security order. On the defense side, the company introduced the TALON aerial system and the D-FLY interceptor at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, both manufactured in England through VisionWave UK Ltd. There are projections that global defense spending will top $2.6Tn in 2026, and it names counter-drone technology, border security and critical infrastructure protection among its addressable segments. MarketsandMarkets estimates the unmanned ground vehicle market at $3.8Bn in 2025 and projects $9.9Bn by 2036, with defense holding the largest revenue share and Asia Pacific expected to grow fastest. Counter-drone systems are the sharpest edge of that spending. MarketsandMarkets projects the C-UAS market will grow from $6.64Bn in 2025 to $20.31Bn by 2030, a 25.1% compound annual growth rate, and identifies North America as the fastest-growing region.
