(Nasdaq: MOBX) Guides To Over 100% Sequential Revenue Growth In Fiscal Q4

October 5th

Greetings Readers,

Somewhere in an Air Force maintenance hangar, an F-16 is being readied to fly for decades more.

A fresh batch of filtered connectors built in Irvine, California, is headed into that sustainment pipeline, shielding radar and avionics from electromagnetic noise.

Almost nobody watching the market knows the company that made them.

That company is Mobix Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBX).

And its latest update may be the clearest sign yet that its turnaround is gaining traction. Management told the market it is on track to beat the midpoint of its fiscal fourth-quarter revenue guidance, which would mark a more than 100% jump over the prior quarter.

The numbers moved fast. The company had guided to $1.4Mn to $1.8Mn for the quarter that closed Sept. 30. That compares with roughly $0.79Mn in fiscal Q3 2026 revenue.

Management also expects a substantial jump in gross margin percentage, driven by higher volumes and a stronger product mix.

Mobix Labs fiscal Q3 reported revenue compared with its fiscal Q4 2026 guidance range.

A second fighter platform joined the roster. Mobix Labs landed its initial F-16 Fighting Falcon component order from a veteran-owned sustainment contractor, and first shipments have already gone out. It follows F-22 Raptor orders that rose about five-fold earlier this year.

Business jets keep coming back for more. A repeat production order for about 1,500 Gulfstream components followed. That matters, because Gulfstream’s parent reported approx $24Bn in Aerospace backlog at the end of its second quarter.

The sensor side is scaling too. The RaGE Systems unit booked a follow-on order topping $1Mn for RF sensing subsystems that feed a U.S. government threat-detection program. Multiple units go into each system the customer fields.

Behind The Scenes: The Call That Reframed The Company

In mid-August, management stepped onto a strategic update call with an unusual guest.

Paul Singarella, co-founder of Special Project Delivery (SPD), joined to discuss a deal that pushes Mobix Labs far beyond connectors.

MOBX Chairman Jim Peterson framed it plainly. The company, he said, is “moving decisively to take our NSM initiative from vision to reality.”

A month later, MOBX CEO Phil Sansone added another line market watchers should note, saying in the fourth-quarter outlook release that he believes fiscal Q3 marked the company’s low point.

That pairing tells the story. Near-term execution is improving. And the long-term map just got a lot wider.

About Mobix Labs, Inc.

Mobix Labs, Inc. designs and builds electronic components and connectivity systems for aerospace, defense and other mission-critical markets.

Its EMI Solutions unit makes filtered connectors at a military-approved facility in Irvine. Its RaGE Systems division builds wideband RF receivers, transmitters and sensing assemblies.

Revenue comes from production orders placed by prime contractors and subcontractors. Once a part is qualified and designed into a platform, it can generate follow-on orders for years. Supported platforms include the F-22, F-35, F/A-18, F-16, Apache helicopters, U.S. Navy shipboard communications, missile programs, Gulfstream aircraft and Boeing 737NG onboard systems.

The capital structure has also changed. The company completed a reverse split in April 2026, and it has signed agreements to acquire both Vision Aerial and SPD. The SPD deal is an all-share transaction capped at 4.8Mn shares, expected to close before year-end subject to shareholder approval.

The Pivot: From Components To A National Security Platform

Here’s where the narrative shifts. The board has approved a plan to rename the company NSM Labs, short for National Security Matters, pending shareholder approval. The ticker stays MOBX for now.

The first building block is drones. Vision Aerial, a Bozeman, Montana manufacturer founded in 2013, counts the U.S. Navy, the USDA Forest Service and L3Harris among its customers. Its management projects approx 46% revenue growth in 2026 and 93% more in 2027, which would put 2027 revenue near three times its 2025 level.

That growth leans on the new Vulcan drone family. The medium-lift Vulcan SX carries up to 3 kilograms for up to 65 minutes, while the heavy-lift Vulcan YX carries up to 10 kilograms.

Policy is a tailwind as well, since a June 2025 executive order directed federal agencies to prioritize U.S.-made drones.

The backdrop is sizable. MarketsandMarkets projects the military drone market will grow to $22.81Bn by 2030, up from $15.80Bn in 2025.

6 Potential Catalysts Putting (Nasdaq: MOBX) At The Top Of Our Watchlist

#1. Guidance Points To More Than 100% Sequential Revenue Growth. Management now expects fiscal Q4 sales above $1.6Mn, which would put (MOBX) on a sharply higher run rate heading into fiscal 2027.

#2. A Second Frontline Fighter Joins The Customer Footprint. The new F-16 order gives (MOBX) a seat in a sustainment market the Air Force plans to keep flying toward 2050.

#3. Repeat Gulfstream Orders Signal Durable Qualified Aerospace Positions. Back-to-back production demand suggests (MOBX) components are designed into aircraft families for extended production cycles.

#4. Pending Drone Deal Adds An American-Built Growth Engine. If it closes, Vision Aerial could give (MOBX) direct exposure to federal demand for NDAA-compliant unmanned aircraft.

#5. Rare Earth Exposure Through An All-Share Acquisition. The SPD agreement would extend (MOBX) upstream into critical minerals without spending cash on the purchase price.

#6. Low Float Idea With Potential For Heightened Volatility. Yahoo Finance lists a float of approx 14.59Mn shares, placing (MOBX) in low float territory where the potential for heightened volatility may be significant.

Closing: Why This Name Belongs On Your Radar

Mobix Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBX) is no longer just a connector supplier. It is assembling defense electronics, American-built drones and critical minerals under one roof.

With fiscal Q4 results ahead and a shareholder vote on two acquisitions coming, the next few months could define the story.

Consider MOBX for your radar. Pull up the filings, track the vote, and watch whether the fourth-quarter numbers land where management says they will.
