College Football 1 Preseason College Football Bowl Projections: Full list of matchups, playoff predictions College football is back, and a lot has changed since last year. The Bahamas, Detroit, and LA bowls are gone, replaced by the Frisco Football Classic, Poinsettia Bowl and Puerto Rico Bowl. It's shaping up to be a very different bowl slate than a year ago.    Brett McMurphy's weekly College Football Playoff and bowl projections are back too, updated ahead of Week 0, mapping out the full 12-team bracket and every bowl matchup on the board.   Some of the most intriguing matchups in the initial projections? Alabama-USC in the Las Vegas Bowl, Michigan-Clemson in Duke's Mayo Bowl, South Carolina-Florida State in the Gasparilla Bowl, and Tennessee-Illinois in the ReliaQuest Bowl.   All 32 of McMurphy's bowl projections can be found below, including his full College Football Playoff bracket, complete with quarterfinal and semifinal host sites. PROJECTIONS FROM BRETT MCMURPHY → College Football 2 LSU ready to challenge the SEC intraconference transfer rule LSU reached a deal with former Ole Miss TE Dae'Quan Wright (Cleveland Browns) and DL Zxavian Harris (New Orleans Saints) to return to the Tigers this season, testing the SEC's rule against intraconference transfers.  Lane Kiffin has spent weeks publicly arguing fifth-year players displaced by eligibility lawsuits should be free to transfer anywhere, setting the stage for LSU's moves. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey already warned member schools about the rule, but if the league penalizes LSU, the school could have grounds to sue its own conference.
