Get Focused On GRML This Morning… August 25, 2026 Dear Reader, The countdown to today’s opening bell is underway, and Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is on our screen after one of the most important Sarfartoq updates in the project’s history. With Skaergaard drilling active, a 31% resource increase already reported, and fewer than 3M shares listed as available to the public, GRML has several reasons to command attention this morning. At Krypton Street, we like profiles where the macro tailwind, the ground-level execution, and the geopolitical backdrop all converge at once… and what we're seeing from (NASDAQ: GRML) right now checks every one of those boxes. This is a Nasdaq-listed critical metals company with rigs drilling in southeast Greenland, a 31% resource upgrade already on the books, a corridor strategy connecting Arctic mining assets to allied processing infrastructure in Iceland… and as of today, a landmark rare earths resource estimate that just rewrote the Sarfartoq story entirely. And the backdrop could not be more relevant to what our community follows. The global race to secure Western-aligned supply chains for rare earths, palladium, platinum, and gold has shifted from talking points to policy action… and companies with actual assets in the ground and actual programs underway are the ones worth knowing about. Let's walk through what's happening and why GRMLlanded on our desk this week. The short version: a first-ever Indicated Resource at Sarfartoq containing roughly five years of non-Chinese NdPr oxide supply, a 31% palladium resource upgrade at Skaergaard, rigs currently drilling at one of the world's most significant undeveloped precious metals deposits, and a post-restructuring float under 3M shares. The longer version is worth the read. Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is topping our watchlist this morning—Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

Following a recent restructuring, (NASDAQ: GRML) now has less than 3M shares listed as available to the public—with a float that small, the potential exists for big moves if demand begins to shift. Drill Rigs Are Turning at One of the World's Largest Undeveloped Precious Metals Deposits
The headline out of Skaergaard is operational momentum. Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) just completed its 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at the Skaergaard project in southeast Greenland, covering more area than originally planned and producing high-resolution seabed data across the fjords surrounding the deposit. That data is already being used to guide the company's support vessel to a new anchorage within 500 meters of the initial 2026 operational area… and it is expected to support new official navigational charts, a dedicated navigational safety study, and planning for future large-scale marine shipping operations. The company has completed all HQ-diameter drill core required for its planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample and has transitioned to NQ-size core drilling for resource definition and geotechnical work through the remainder of the season.
A new core shack for logging, sampling, and storage is fully operational on site. For our community, the operational detail here matters. This is not a company waiting on permits or assembling plans. The support vessel Argus sailed out of Reykjavik carrying drill rigs, geophysical equipment, drone survey systems, bulk-sampling machinery, fuel, and other exploration infrastructure. An initial field team of more than 40 technical experts, drillers, and logistics personnel deployed on site, with additional specialists scheduled to rotate in throughout the season. Equipment was successfully slung from Argus to shore, safety drills and inductions were completed, and drill rigs from Nordisk Fundering — including two new heli-portable units — were assembled and are now running. Drone-based LiDAR survey work has been completed, approximately one-third of planned drill locations have been identified and marked in the field, and the Sodalen airstrip has been assessed and confirmed in excellent condition. "Arriving safely at Skaergaard and getting rigs turning is a defining moment for this season, and for the project," said Dr. Bo Moller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML). That kind of execution is what we look for. The Corridor Strategy That Ties It All Together
What separates GRMLfrom a typical exploration-stage name is the breadth of the platform and the way the pieces connect. Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) is building what it calls a North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor… a development-stage strategy that links upstream Greenland resource assets with processing, logistics, offtake, and end markets across allied Western jurisdictions.
The upstream anchor is Skaergaard, one of the world's largest undeveloped palladium, gold, and platinum deposits. The deposit is hosted in the Triple Group of the Skaergaard layered mafic igneous intrusion, a 56-year-old geological formation roughly 400 km west of Iceland. The company holds an 80% interest — with an option to acquire the remaining 20% — in the three Mineral Exploration Licenses covering the project and adjacent areas. Then there is Sarfartoq… and what just happened there today changes the calculus entirely. On August 24, Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML) announced a landmark S-K 1300 Mineral Resource Estimate for its Sarfartoq Nd-Pr rare earths project in southwest Greenland, prepared independently by Tetra Tech and GeoSim with an effective date of July 31, 2026. For the first time in the project's more than 15-year exploration history, Sarfartoq now carries an Indicated Resource under an SEC-recognized reporting standard… a critical de-risking milestone. It is also the first time Sarfartoq has been assessed under a combined open pit and underground scenario. The Hybrid estimate delivers an Indicated Mineral Resource of 6.9M tonnes grading 1.60% TREO, alongside an Inferred Mineral Resource of 5.3M tonnes grading 0.96% TREO. The neodymium and praseodymium oxide already identified within this resource — approximately 40,700 tons contained across the Indicated and Inferred categories combined — is equivalent to roughly five years of all NdPr oxide refined outside China in 2025. For anyone in our community who follows the critical minerals story, that number alone demands attention. Very few rare earth resources anywhere in the Western world can make that claim. And the mineralogy matters just as much as the scale… Sarfartoq hosts conventional, well-understood rare earth minerals — bastnรคsite, monazite, synchysite — the same mineral families already processed at commercial-scale facilities elsewhere in the world, meaning no novel or unproven processing technology is required. The ST1 zone where today's resource was estimated occupies less than 1% of the 191-square-kilometer license, with five additional known occurrences that remain largely untested. Neo Performance Materials, as part of the previously announced definitive agreement, retains offtake rights on up to 60% of future Sarfartoq ore or mineral concentrate production… directly bridging a Greenlandic source of Nd-Pr feedstock to Neo's midstream and downstream rare earth separation and magnet platform. These are the magnet metals at the center of EV motors, wind turbines, and defense applications… and the supply chain for them remains dominated by China. "Sarfartoq has the potential to change the Western rare earths landscape for the magnet metals the world's electric vehicle, wind and defense industries urgently need," said Bo Mรธller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines Ltd (NASDAQ: GRML). On the downstream side, the company holds a First Right of Refusal on the Helguvik industrial complex on Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula — a brownfield site with existing industrial infrastructure, deep-water port access, and low-cost renewable grid power located roughly 400 km by sea from Skaergaard. Upstream mining in Greenland, midstream processing in Iceland, both within NATO-aligned jurisdictions and connected by sea. That is a corridor with infrastructure logic behind it, not a concept deck. And for our community, the distinction between companies that draw circles on maps and companies that secure actual processing infrastructure is one that matters. The Supply Story Our Community Should Understand
The resource upgrade gives GRMLadditional substance. The company recently reported a 31% increase in its indicated palladium equivalent resource at Skaergaard… and that upgrade arrived just ahead of the biggest field season the company has ever run. Palladium matters here because of the supply concentration. Automotive applications account for roughly 80% to 85% of total global palladium demand, and Russia remains the dominant supplier. The combination of a structurally concentrated supply base, rising geopolitical risk from the dominant supplier, and persistent demand from the automotive sector creates a clear rationale for Western nations to secure alternative sources. The Center for Strategic and International Studies reinforces this from a different angle, noting that Greenland ranks eighth in the world for rare earth reserves with 1.5M tons, and that U.S. policymakers have been actively working to counter Chinese influence in the region. The CSIS report also notes that Greenland's own government has warned that without an influx of Western capital, it may have to turn to other partners — including China — to develop its mineral resources. That context gives GRMLa geopolitical dimension that extends beyond the balance sheet. On the corporate governance front, the board adopted a limited-duration rights plan on July 22, 2026, designed to protect against coercive accumulation below fair value. The plan triggers if a person or group acquires 15% or more of outstanding shares and notably counts synthetic derivative positions toward that threshold. Dr. Joseph Sinkule, Chairman and CEO, commented that the rights plan safeguards the ability of all holders to receive appropriate value and ensures the board has adequate time to evaluate any proposal in a thoughtful and orderly manner. When a board reaches for that tool, it is saying something about how it views its own assets relative to where the market sits today. The company also maintains a second operating division through Klotho's KLTO-202, a clinical-stage program with a primary indication for ALS… adding a biotech dimension to the GRMLplatform that carries its own distinct forward-looking profile. 8 Things Our Community Is Watching on GRML
