A Message from ProsperityPub Dear Reader, If you started trading options five years ago… You were already playing against complex mathematical systems and high-powered algorithms. Today? The game is even more sophisticated. Market makers have enormous amounts of data, pricing models and technology working behind the scenes to figure out what the market is likely to do. And that creates a problem for the average options trader. Because when you buy an option, you're not simply betting that the market goes up or down. You're betting that it moves far enough… Fast enough… And beyond what the market has already priced in. That's three separate battles. And the options market has already built its expectations into the premium you're paying. So what if instead of trying to outguess the market… You could use the information already embedded in the options market to build your trade? That's one of the ideas explored in my new trading guide, Right About the Market, Wrong About The Money.
Inside, you'll see how expected ranges, time decay and defined-risk structures can change the way you approach short-term options trades… As well as how you can approach this market – from 3 decades of trading experience. Get your free copy here >>>
American Express Earnings and 2 Surveys Could Move Stocks Friday Friday, Oct. 23, is a trading day with one big card company reporting and two surveys on how businesses and shoppers feel. All three land before lunch. 1. American Express earnings at about 7:00 a.m. ETAmerican Express is scheduled to release third-quarter results at approximately 7:00 a.m. ET, followed by a webcast call at 8:30 a.m. ET. As a card issuer and payments network, it shows how much customers are spending and whether they are paying their bills. Nasdaq's earnings calendar, read on Oct. 22, shows a consensus of $4.47 per share from nine analysts. That is about 8% above the $4.14 per share listed for the third quarter of 2025. In the second quarter, reported July 24, earnings were $4.53 per share on revenue of $19.6 billion, and the company said it still expected full-year earnings of $17.30 to $17.90 per share. One risk to watch: second-quarter expenses rose 12%, faster than the 10% revenue gain. 2. Flash PMIs at 9:45 a.m. ETS&P Global publishes an early estimate of its October purchasing managers' index, or PMI. It surveys company purchasing executives, and a reading above 50 signals expansion. Its release calendar lists the US flash readings for Oct. 23 at 13:45 UTC, or 9:45 a.m. ET. The Nasdaq economic calendar and Trading Economics, both read on Oct. 22, show a consensus of 55.5 for manufacturing, against 55.9 in September. For services, the consensus is 58.0, against 58.8 in September. 3. Michigan consumer sentiment at 10 a.m. ETThe University of Michigan is scheduled to publish its final October consumer survey at 10 a.m. ET. The preliminary October sentiment index was 46.3, down from 48.1 in September. The same two calendars show a consensus of 46.3, meaning no change from the preliminary figure. The preliminary survey also showed year-ahead inflation expectations of 4.7%, up from 4.6% in September, and long-run expectations of 3.5%, up from 3.4%. Investors follow inflation expectations because they feed into debates over interest rates. What It Means for YouNone of these three reports tells you what stocks will do. A company can beat the consensus and still see its shares fall, and a survey can match forecasts and still be followed by a big market move. Earnings and surveys measure different things. One is a company's own results, while the others are opinions gathered from businesses and households. Consensus figures are averages of analyst or economist estimates, and they can change before the release. The real numbers arrive on Friday morning.

I recorded a full presentation explaining exactly how this works...
And how you could collect your first payout as soon as this Thursday.
